Q. What is a CHARITY CODE?
A. A CHARITY CODE is a short code (short code) which is set up specifically within the Synergytxt System for the purpose of fundraising for a non-profit organisation. A CHARITY CODE is either a 3 or 4 digit code. Consumers will text a WORD, which we call a KEYWORD to the code to instantly donate $3 to the CHARITY.
Q. Can anyone set up a CHARITY CODE?
A. You have to be a registered NON- PROFIT ORGANISATION. You will be required to show proof of this by providing us with the trust deed and/or a letter indicating the charity’s GST exemption.
Q. Can I choose my own CHARITY SHORTCODE?
A. We can supply a list of CODES that are available and you can choose from this.
Q. What is the duration of the CODE?
A. A CHARITY CODE can only be used for a 3 month duration.
Q. How long does it take to set up a CHARITY CODE.
A. Once you have chosen your CODE we will send in an application form will be sent to and this can take up to 8 weeks. If you preferred code is not available on all the teleco’s we will ask you to supply us with an alternative.
Q. How much does it cost for a CHARITY CODE?
A. Depending on the duration of your FUNDRAISING EVENT, there is a set-up fee and a monthly cost. The cost can change depending on whether you would like a 3 digit code or a 4 digit code.
